Hi, my name is Ron Lohman, I have been teaching at Stoney Creek for 18+ years.  I love teaching and get just as excited as my students when they improve.

I learned my craft from PGA Pro Larry Root with 50+ years as a pro.  Larry taught me his philosophy, “work with the student’s natural ability and take into account any limitations they may have”.  We work together by tweaking their swing a little at a time.  Everyone’s swing is different, so I help my students improve according to what they are capability of doing.

I employ video that is invaluable as it will show the golf swing frame by frame. Students will see exactly what I see, giving them the confidence that we are working on the correct improvements.
